Jan Andringa is active in the field of company law with specializations: mergers and acquisitions;private equity and venture capital in the technology sector.His clients are both start-ups as well as formal and inform investors. Jan has been involved in the following cases: the sale by Vendex KBB of an interest in Kijkshop, Hans Anders, Het Huis, Optichange, Scapino, Perry Sport, Siebel, Het Jeweliershuis, Lucardi and Prenatal to CVC Capital Partners; various investments by Prime Technology Ventures and participations in Tridion Holding; advisory to Vanenburg Capital Management on the sale to Torex PLC of the shares in Hiscom; legal advisor to Neweconomy, Rabo participations, NMB Heller and De Lage Countries in connection with the participation in DigiNotar; advisory to Clear Channel Communications Inc., a company listed to the American Exchange in their investment in a Dutch FM radio station; the participation of Neweconomy in Citee; various advisory assignments for start-up companies in the technology industry.Jan has been partner with Holland Van Gijzen and member of the company law section since 2002. For Holland Van Gijzen he worked for eight years as a lawyer at a large law firm mainly in the field of mergers and acquisitions with a focus on participations.From 1995 to 1997, Jan worked at the establishment of an international office in Curaçao. He advised foreign multinationals in the field of Antillean company and securities law.

Voor Holland Van Gijzen was hij acht jaar werkzaam als advocaat bij een groot advocatenkantoor voornamelijk op het gebied van fusies en overnames met een focus op participaties.Van 1995 tot 1997 was Jan werkzaam bij de vestiging van een internationaal kantoor op Curaçao. Hij adviseerde buitenlandse multinationals op het gebied van het Antilliaanse vennootschaps- en effectenrecht.
