Marga van Gerwen studied Dutch Law (graduation in Private Law) and Tax Law at the University of Tilburg. As part of the study of Dutch Law, she has completed both the direction of Agricultural Law (University of Nijmegen) and the agricultural economy. Marga has been a senior advisor to ABAB for more than 9 years, with the focus on the personal partnership (company, company and company) and production limiting regulations in the agricultural sector, called quoting. Marga has been working as a lawyer since 1995. Previously with Rottier lawyers and now at BANNING within the Real Estate practice group. There she is involved in advising and litigating in the field of public construction law, such as spatial planning, environmental law, spatial environmental law and enforcement. In addition, she advises and litigates in the field of tax administration law, in particular on local authorities' fees (legs, fees and precario).
Marga van Gerwen studeerde Nederlands Recht (afstudeerrichting Privaatrecht) en Belastingrecht aan de Universiteit van Tilburg. Als onderdeel van de studie Nederlands Recht heeft zij zowel de richting Agrarisch recht (Universiteit van Nijmegen) als Agrarische economie afgerond. Marga is ruim 9 jaar als senior-adviseur verbonden geweest aan ABAB accountants- en belastingadvies, met als aandachtsgebied de personenvennootschap (maatschap, vennootschap onder firma en commanditaire vennootschap) en productiebeperkende regelgeving in de agrarische sector, quotering genaamd. Sinds 1995 is Marga werkzaam als advocaat. Voorheen bij Rottier advocaten en nu bij BANNING binnen de praktijkgroep Vastgoed. Daar houdt zij zich bezig met het adviseren en procederen op het gebied van het publiekrechtelijk bouwrecht, zoals ruimtelijke ordening, omgevingsrecht, ruimtelijk milieurecht en handhaving. Daarnaast adviseert en procedeert zij op het terrein van het fiscale bestuursrecht, meer in het bijzonder inzake heffingen van lokale overheden (leges, retributies en precario).
