Olaf van Haperen (1969) has been a lawyer since 1995 and since 2011 has been a lawyer/partner at Kneppelhout & Korthals Lawyers. Before that, he worked for nearly 10 years at Lawton Lawyers, as co-founder/partner. Early in his career, Olaf specialized in classical Intellectual Property Law and ICT law. Apart from active memberships in various professional associations, he often acts as a guest speaker or lecturer at universities and colleges, for example. Olaf has a mixed advice and process practice with an emphasis on classical Intellectual Property Law and e-commerce. In this capacity, he has assisted a large number of companies on infringement issues, IP management and restructuring and complicated ICT issues such as outsourcing, SAAS, SLAs and e-commerce contracts. Olaf customers range from innovative start-ups to (listed) international companies in a wide variety of branches. This busy practice tries to combine Olaf with two children and a woman with her own career as HRM & Organisation Advisor. The sparing time that remains, he spends on passions such as cooking and reading. Olaf van Haperen (1969) is sinds 1995 advocaat en sinds 2011 advocaat/partner bij Kneppelhout & Korthals Advocaten. Daarvoor werkte hij bijna 10 jaar bij Lawton Advocaten, als medeoprichter/partner. Al vroeg in zijn carrière heeft Olaf zich gespecialiseerd in het klassieke Intellectuele Eigendomsrecht en in het ICT-recht. Los van actieve lidmaatschappen in diverse beroepsverenigingen treedt hij vaak op als gastspreker of gastdocent aan bijvoorbeeld universiteiten en hogescholen. Olaf heeft een gemengde advies- en procespraktijk met de nadruk op het klassieke Intellectuele Eigendomsrecht en e-commerce. In die hoedanigheid heeft hij een groot aantal bedrijven geassisteerd met betrekking tot inbreukvraagstukken, IP-management en restructuring en gecompliceerde ICT vraagstukken zoals outsourcing, SAAS, SLA's en e-commerce contracten. Klanten van Olaf variëren van innovatieve startende bedrijven tot (beursgenoteerde) internationale ondernemingen in een grote variëteit aan branches. Deze drukke praktijk probeert Olaf te combineren met twee kinderen en een vrouw met een eigen carrière als HRM & Organisatieadviseur. De spaarzame tijd die dan nog overblijft besteedt hij aan passies zoals koken en lezen.
