Harald Wiersema specialises in administrative law, with particular attention to the telecommunications, media, spatial planning and environment sectors. He advises and litigates for parties in both the public and private sector. He has previously worked within the Life Sciences section, where he advised clients in the field of pharmaceutical law.
In 2011 and 2012, Harald was seconded to a major telecom operator for several months. He supported the Legal and Regulatory team in the fields of contract law, privacy and various regulatory topics.
Harald graduated from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in 2010 and obtained his Master's degree in State and Administrative Law. He joined NautaDutilh in March 2010.
He is admitted to the Amsterdam Bar and is a member of the VAR Association for Administrative Law and the Association for Media and Communication Law. He regularly publishes on administrative matters (see Publications). Harald speaks Dutch, English and Spanish.
Harald Wiersema is gespecialiseerd in het bestuursrecht, met als bijzondere aandachtsgebieden de sectoren telecommunicatie, media, ruimtelijke ordening en milieu. Hij adviseert en procedeert voor partijen in zowel de publieke als de private sector. Hij is eerder werkzaam geweest binnen de sectie Life Sciences, waar hij cliënten adviseerde op het gebied van het geneesmiddelenrecht.
In 2011 en 2012 is Harald enkele maanden gedetacheerd geweest bij een grote telecom operator. Hij ondersteunde daar het Legal en Regulatory team op het gebied van contractenrecht, privacy en verschillende 'regulatory' onderwerpen.
Harald is in 2010 afgestudeerd aan de Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam en heeft daar zijn Master staats- en bestuursrecht behaald. Hij trad in maart 2010 in dienst bij NautaDutilh.
Hij is toegelaten tot de Amsterdamse balie en is lid van de VAR Vereniging voor Bestuursrecht en de Vereniging voor Media- en Communicatierecht. Hij publiceert regelmatig over bestuursrechtelijke onderwerpen (zie onder Publicaties). Harald spreekt Nederlands, Engels en Spaans.
