Jacqueline Meyst graduated from Leiden University in 1977 in the direction of Dutch Private Law. In 1978 she was sworn in as a lawyer and has since worked in law, among others at Dutilh, Van der Hoeven & Slager. In 1984, she joined Houthoff Buruma and was a partner in the Commercial Insurance & Litigation practice group. Since April 2006, Jacqueline has been a partner of Van Benthem & Cologne and head of both the practice group Liability and Insurance Law and Health Law. Jacqueline's specializations are in the field of health law with the emphasis on medical liability, medical disciplinary law and advice in conflicts between specialists, departments and managements. In addition, it focuses on liability and injury in general, with particular attention to the so-called 'modern' occupational diseases.

Jacqueline Meyst studeerde in 1977 af aan de Rijksuniversiteit Leiden in de richting Nederlands Privaatrecht. In 1978 is ze beëdigd als advocaat en sindsdien werkzaam in de advocatuur, onder andere bij Dutilh, Van der Hoeven & Slager. In 1984 trad zij in dienst bij Houthoff Buruma en was zij partner in de praktijkgroep Commercial Insurance & Litigation. Sinds april 2006 is Jacqueline vennoot van Van Benthem & Keulen en hoofd van zowel de praktijkgroep Aansprakelijkheids- en Verzekeringsrecht als van Gezondheidsrecht. De specialisaties van Jacqueline liggen op het gebied van het gezondheidsrecht met de nadruk op medische aansprakelijkheid, medisch tuchtrecht en advisering bij conflicten tussen specialisten, maatschappen en directies. Daarnaast richt zij zich op aansprakelijkheid en letselschade in het algemeen, met bijzondere aandacht voor de zogenaamde 'moderne' beroepsziekten.
