Nelly Paanakker completed her studies at the University of Groningen in 1993 and was sworn in as a lawyer in Groningen in 1996. Since then, she has worked at the office and has specialised in civil service and labour law.
A large part of her work involves advising and guiding public authorities, entrepreneurs and educational institutions in, for example, reorganisations. This is why Nelly has considerable experience with the law of participation. Of course, individual dismissal cases are also part of her portfolio. It strives to resolve matters in consultation. That does not mean that, when necessary, the corridor to the judge is shunned. Nelly is at home in her specialization and in the role she plays between employer and employee.
Nelly has completed the Specialist Training Northern Course Labour Law.

Nelly Paanakker voltooide haar studie in 1993 aan de Rijksuniversiteit Groningen en is in 1996 beëdigd als advocaat te Groningen. Sindsdien is zij werkzaam bij het kantoor en inmiddels gespecialiseerd in het ambtenaren- en arbeidsrecht.
Een flink deel van haar werk betreft het adviseren en begeleiden van overheden, ondernemers en onderwijsinstellingen in bijvoorbeeld reorganisaties. Mede daardoor heeft Nelly aanzienlijke ervaring met het Medezeggenschapsrecht. Natuurlijk maken ook individuele ontslagzaken deel uit van haar portefeuille. Zij streeft er naar om zaken in overleg op te lossen. Dat betekent niet dat, wanneer noodzakelijk, de gang naar de rechter wordt geschuwd. Nelly is thuis in haar specialisatie en in de rol die zij speelt tussen werkgever en werknemer.
Nelly heeft de specialistenopleiding Noordelijke Leergang Arbeidsrecht afgerond.
