Marjolijn Miltenburg (1981) graduated from Tilburg University at the end of 2004. In 2005, she traded Brabant for Friesland and started her career at a large law firm where, following her graduation, she started to deal with labour law.In the meantime, Marjolijn deals almost exclusively with employment matters for five years and is therefore entitled to call herself a specialist in this field.In 2008 she wrote a book on the legislation relating to holidays, leave and adaptation of working hours. It intends to publish more frequently in the future in the field of employment law.In addition to (dismissal) procedures for both employers and employees and advice on, among other things, terms of employment, changes in working conditions and company transfers, Marjolijn also acts in the field of civil service. Marjolijn is driven and stubborn and can't stand it when she doesn't hear her arguments.In her spare time, Marjolijn lives twice a week, but preferably more often on the gym bike during a spinning or RPM training. In 2005 verruilde zij Brabant voor Friesland en startte haar loopbaan bij een groot advocatenkantoor waar zij zich, in aansluiting op haar afstudeerrichting, bezig ging houden met arbeidsrecht.Inmiddels behandelt Marjolijn zo’n vijf jaar lang vrijwel alleen maar arbeidszaken en mag zij zich dus een specialist op dit terrein noemen.In 2008 schreef zij een boek over de wetgeving met betrekking tot vakantie, verlof en aanpassing van arbeidsduur. Zij is van plan om in de toekomst vaker te publiceren op arbeidsrechtelijk gebied.Naast (ontslag)procedures voor zowel werkgevers als werknemers en advisering met betrekking tot onder meer concurrentiebedingen, arbeidsvoorwaardenwijzigingen en overgang van onderneming, treedt Marjolijn ook op in ambtenarenzaken. Een vak apart, omdat daarvoor kennis van het bestuursrechtelijke procesrecht vereist is.Marjolijn is gedreven en eigenwijs en kan het niet uitstaan wanneer zij geen gehoor vindt voor haar argumenten.In haar vrije tijd leeft Marjolijn zich in elk geval tweemaal per week – maar het liefst vaker – uit op de sportschoolfiets tijdens een spinning- of RPM-training. Het moet pijn doen, anders is Marjolijn niet tevreden. Al sportend met een zo hoog mogelijke hartslag, kan zij zich het best ontspannen.Specialisatie: arbeidsrecht, ambtenarenrecht
