Jaap Kloppers studied Dutch law at Utrecht University. He graduated from both private and tax law. Jaap has been working as a lawyer since 2004. He specializes in corporate law in the broad sense with a focus on (cross-border) mergers and acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures, corporate governance and restructurings. Jaap successfully completed the postgraduate degree in company and company law at the Grotius Academy in 2010 (cum laude).
Jaap Kloppers heeft Nederlands recht gestudeerd aan de Universiteit Utrecht. Hij is zowel privaatrechtelijk als belastingrechtelijk afgestudeerd. Sinds 2004 is Jaap werkzaam als advocaat. Hij is gespecialiseerd in het ondernemingsrecht in brede zin met een focus op (grensoverschrijdende) fusies en overnames, private equity, joint ventures, corporate governance en herstructureringen. Jaap heeft in 2010 succesvol de postdoctorale opleiding vennootschaps- en ondernemingsrecht aan de Grotius Academie afgerond (cum laude).
