Kees Capel started as an intern in Rotterdam in 1975. Since 1978 he has held office in The Hague for ten years. On 1 October 1988 he joined Kneppelhout & Korthals. At the beginning of 1989 he became a partner. For a long time he has had a general practice and has also dealt with criminal matters. Over the years, the emphasis has been on intellectual property on the one hand and on real estate and administrative law on the other. His practice is 100% intellectual property. In particular, he likes to deal with patent cases. His clients come from both home and abroad. He strives to present cases, however complex, to the judge briefly and succinctly. He is best placed in his element in short-term proceedings, such as interim proceedings. He likes to communicate in German, English and French. Kees Capel is a family man. He loves his wife, children, grandchildren and pets. He likes to cycle (as soon as possible) and loves art, music and trains. In his post as secretary of the National Stichting Nationaal Smalspoor (museum) in Valkenburg ZH, he converted the latter. He is a certified stoker on steam locomotives and strives to become a engineer one day. This is what he wanted when he was seven years old. At Kneppelhout & Korthals, Kees Capel is part of the field group Intellectual Property. He's also a cheerful note in the office. Memberships: Association Internationale pour la Protection de Propriété Intellectuelle (AIPPI), Association for Intellectual Property (VIE), Association for Competition Law, Association for Advertising Law, Antitrust Alliance, Dutch Legal Association
Kees Capel is een family man.
