Joep H. Ottervanger (1972), a lawyer, is a member of the company law practice group. He specializes in fund formation and has several internationally renowned investment companies as clients. Hij heeft een aantal jaren als advocaat in het buitenland gewerkt, waaronder een jaar bij het New Yorkse kantoor van Davis Polk & Wardwell. Door zijn werkzaamheden voor fondsmanagers en zijn detachering bij AlpInvest Partners en PGGM heeft hij diepgaande kennis van de fondsensector verworven, zowel vanuit het perspectief van de fondsmanager als de investeerder. Naast zijn fondsgerelateerde werk vertegenwoordigt hij regelmatig investeringsfondsen, institutionele beleggers en 'corporates' in verband met hun investeringen (waaronder M&A- en JV-transacties) en herstructureringen.
