Elisabeth Thole is chairman of the Van Doorne Privacy Team. She specializes in the privacy compliance of organizations. She advises on, among other things, the processing of personal data, the reporting of personal data, the transfer of personal data to third countries, privacy statements, processing of HR data, the role of the works council, whistleblower schemes, the control of e-mail and internet traffic and direct marketing actions. She is also an expert in IT contracts, e-commerce, outsourcing, open source and IP aspectsIn 1991, Elisabeth obtained her PhD on the dissertation ''Software, a 'novum' in property law; reviews of the position of copyright on software in property law. Elisabeth regularly publishes and talks about IT and privacy-related topics. She has written several books on privacy (2010), IT contracts (2010), e-commerce (2001) and the millennium problem (1999). Elisabeth Thole is voorzitter van het Van Doorne Privacy Team. Zij is gespecialiseerd in het privacy compliant maken van organisaties. Zij adviseert onder meer over de verwerking van persoonsgegevens, de meldingsplicht, de doorgifte van persoonsgegevens naar derde landen, privacystatements, bewerkersovereenkomsten, verwerking HR-gegevens, de rol van de ondernemingsraad, klokkenluidersregelingen, controle van e-mail en internetverkeer en direct marketing acties.
