Pieter de Boorder (1946) has been a lawyer since 1974 and specialises in real estate and spatial administration law. Pieter worked as a lawyer in Paris for three years. However, he has worked most of his career in Rotterdam and is therefore more than anyone aware of everything that is going on in Rotterdam. Pieter has been affiliated to our office since 2005 and is one of the three partners in the Real Estate and Administrative Law section. He advises a large number of municipalities, water boards as well as the province in the field of land acquisition. He also advises companies in real estate transactions and relocations. He has been involved in the Betuweline and the HSL, among other things. In addition to his legal work, he is the commissioner of several companies. Member of the Board of the Association of Village City and Land, in charge of welfare advice in the province of South Holland and Zeeland, and also a member of the Board of the Foundation 1913, which is involved in educational projects for disadvantaged people at home and abroad. Pieter de Boorder (1946) is sinds 1974 advocaat en is gespecialiseerd in vastgoed- en ruimtelijk bestuursrecht. Pieter is drie jaar in Parijs als advocaat werkzaam geweest. Het overgrote deel van zijn loopbaan heeft hij echter in Rotterdam gewerkt en is daarmee als geen ander op de hoogte van alles wat reilt en zeilt in het Rotterdamse. Pieter is sinds 2005 verbonden aan ons kantoor en is één van de drie partners van de sectie Vastgoed en Bestuursrecht. Hij adviseert een groot aantal gemeenten, waterschappen alsook de provincie op het gebied van grondverwerving. Voorts adviseert hij ondernemingen in vastgoedtransacties en verplaatsingen. Hij is onder meer betrokken geweest bij de Betuwelijn en de HSL. Naast zijn advocatuurlijke werkzaamheden is hij commissaris van verschillende vennootschappen. Lid van het bestuur van de Vereniging Dorp Stad en Land, belast met de welstandsadvisering in de provincie Zuid-Holland en Zeeland en voorts is hij bestuurslid van de Stichting 1913, welke stichting zich bezig houdt met educatieve projecten voor kansarmen in binnen- en buitenland.
