Monique van Dijken - Eeuwijk specializes in laws and regulations for audit firms and auditors as well as in laws and regulations regarding the protection of privacy/personal data. Her practice focuses in particular on regulatory issues, compliance issues and (financial) services, performed on a cross-border basis.
Monique is chairman of the Industry Team Accountancy firms, which team is active in the Benelux. In addition, she is part of the Privacy Team and the E-commerce Team within NautaDutilh. Monique assists several audit firms, including the Big Four, for a wide variety of national and international issues. She is also Deputy Secretary of the Disciplinary Board for Accountants.
Monique completed the European Studies programme at the University of Amsterdam in 1994. She also completed her studies in Dutch law in 1995. She speaks the French language in addition to English fluently. After working for several years as a group lawyer at a large financial institution, Monique joined NautaDutilh in 2001.
Monique van Dijken - Eeuwijk is gespecialiseerd in wet-en regelgeving voor accountantsorganisaties en accountants alsmede in wet- en regelgeving met betrekking tot de bescherming van privacy/persoonsgegevens. Haar praktijk richt zich in het bijzonder op regulatory-issues, compliance-issues en (financiële) dienstverlening, verricht op een cross-borderbasis.
Monique is voorzitter van het Industry Team Accountancy firms, welk team actief is in de Benelux. Daarnaast maakt ze deel uit van het Privacy Team en het E-commerce Team binnen NautaDutilh. Monique staat verschillende accountantsorganisaties bij, waaronder de Big Four, voor een grote variëteit aan nationale en internationale issues. Zij is voorts adjunct-secretaris van de Raad van Tucht voor Accountants.
Monique heeft in 1994 de opleiding Europese Studies aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam afgerond. Ook heeft zij in 1995 haar studie Nederlands recht voltooid. Zij spreekt naast Engels vloeiend de Franse taal. Nadat zij een aantal jaren werkzaam was als concernjuriste bij een grote financiële instelling, is Monique in 2001 in dienst getreden bij NautaDutilh.
