Bart Wilton is active in the field of banking and securities law, in which he focuses on capital market and finance transactions. Bart advises banks and financial institutions in setting up and participating in syndicated and unspecified loans and in issuing securities. He also regularly advises large companies. Bart has experience in advising banks and companies on project financing (including project financing in the oil and gas industry). He is a member of the Energy & Utilities Industry Team.
Bart graduated from Erasmus University Rotterdam in Business Economics and Dutch Law in 2002, after which he joined NautaDutilh in the same year. The postdoctoral programme funding and guarantees at the Grotius Academy completed Bart in 2007. Bart is a member of the Dutch Association for Energy Law.
Bart Wilton is werkzaam op het terrein van het bank-en effectenrecht, waarbinnen hij zich richt op kapitaalmarkt- en financieringstransacties. Bart adviseert banken en financiële instellingen bij het opzetten van en participeren in gesyndiceerde en niet-gesyndiceerde leningen en bij de uitgifte van effecten. Hij adviseert ook regelmatig grote ondernemingen. Bart heeft ervaring in de advisering van banken en ondernemingen met betrekking tot projectfinancieringen (inclusief projectfinancieringen in de olie- en gasindustrie). Hij is lid van het Energy & Utilities Industry Team.
Bart is in 2002 afgestudeerd aan de Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam in Bedrijfseconomie en Nederlands recht, waarna hij in hetzelfde jaar bij NautaDutilh in dienst trad. De postdoctorale opleiding financiering en zekerheden aan de Grotius Academie heeft Bart in 2007 afgerond. Bart is lid van de Nederlandse Vereniging voor Energierecht.
