Debby Hermans studied law and graduated cum laude from Radboud University in Nijmegen. Since 1996, she has worked in law. Debby has followed the specialization course in Labour Law at the Grotius Academy and is concerned with individual and collective dismissal law (reorganisations). The rights and obligations of the employer and employee in the event of incapacity for work of the employee have its particular attention, as well as disputes relating to a competitive and/or relationship clause. In addition, Debby's interest is in cases where labour law issues are interrelated with contract law. As may be the case, for example, in the case of unfair employee competition and the change in working conditions.
Debby Hermans heeft rechten gestudeerd en is cum laude afgestudeerd aan de Radboud Universiteit te Nijmegen. Sinds 1996 is zij werkzaam in de advocatuur. Debby heeft aan de Grotius Academie de specialisatieopleiding Arbeidsrecht gevolgd en houdt zich bezig met het individuele en collectieve ontslagrecht (reorganisaties). De rechten en verplichtingen van de werkgever en werknemer in geval van arbeidsongeschiktheid van de werknemer hebben haar bijzondere aandacht, net zoals geschillen inzake een concurrentie- en/of relatiebeding. Daarnaast gaat Debby’s interesse uit naar zaken waarbij arbeidsrechtelijke kwesties raakvlakken hebben met het verbintenissenrecht. Zoals bijvoorbeeld het geval kan zijn bij oneerlijke werknemersconcurrentie en de wijziging van arbeidsvoorwaarden.
