Erica Cartwright facilitates workers and trade unions in organizing, negotiating, and protecting their hard-earned rights. With diverse interests in labour law and human rights, she works with organizations and individuals in various sectors to advance equity in the workplace through grievances and collective bargaining. The goal of her burgeoning practice is an ethical one: to effectively overhaul power imbalances.
Growing up in Toronto’s labour movement, Erica learned firsthand the power of unity in the workplace, as well as the complexities of the picket-line. With years of experience working on election campaigns and in the hospitality industry, Erica’s communication style is clear and actionable. Clients count on her nuanced approach, and her discerning and pragmatic advocacy.
Erica is a member of the Law Union of Ontario and the Canadian Association of Labour Lawyers. An avid cribbage player and aspiring wine nerd, outside of the office you can probably find her buying too many houseplants in Kensington Market.
