Daniel Cherney is a seasoned lawyer with experience in corporate, commercial, real estate law, and wills and estates. He has advised clients across industries and deal sizes—from startups and private equity funds to international firms and family-owned businesses. His legal career includes roles at regional and national firms, where he led multi-million dollar transactions and provided strategic counsel on mergers, acquisitions, financing, business structuring and reorganizations, and governance.

Daniel holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Business Law from the University of Toronto, a Juris Doctor (Honours) from Bond University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Dalhousie University. He was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 2018 and has received multiple academic awards, including First-in-Class distinctions and Dean’s List honors.
