Avi Jonathan Cole

Avi Cole, a valued Partner at Evangelista Barristers & Solicitors, joined the firm in 2009. After graduating from Dalhousie University Law School in 2007, he began his legal career by articling at a downtown Toronto litigation firm.

Avi has extensive experience litigating complex and high-value construction disputes. Over the years, he has represented contractors, builders, developers, and energy providers in a wide range of legal matters. His work includes resolving disputes involving major infrastructure projects, commercial developments, and residential construction.

As well, Avi maintains a diverse and robust litigation practice, encompassing serious personal injury claims, large loss environmental claims, product liability claims, and coverage disputes. Avi has also developed a niche expertise in right to sue claims before the Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal, where he has successfully argued numerous hearings.
