Luma Laura Damasceno Goes

Luma's practice focuses primarily on domestic and cross-border financing. She acts for lenders and borrowers in both secured and unsecured financing transactions.

Luma is also a qualified lawyer in Brazil. Prior to joining Blakes, she was an associate at a national Brazilian law firm, where her practice focused on public procurement and government contracts. She advised commercial clients on a wide range of corporate and contractual matters, particularly in their dealings with public entities and regulatory bodies.

Upon transitioning her practice to Canada, Luma joined Blakes as a summer student in 2024 and completed her articles with the Firm in 2024/2025.

Luma is a dual licensed lawyer in Brazil and Ontario, Canada. She is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, Ontario Bar Association, and Brazil Canada Bar Association.
