Richard Michael De Almeida

Richard De Almeida is an associate at Lewis Litigation where he maintains a growing practice in civil and commercial litigation. Prior to joining Lewis Litigation, Richard worked as in-house legal counsel at a global chemical manufacturing company. There, he negotiated complex and multi-million dollar commercial contracts and advised on regulatory compliance where he gained insight into the business and operational realities clients must navigate. Richard received his Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School and holds an undergraduate degree in biochemistry from the University of Toronto which has nurtured his ability to engage with technical and scientific issues that frequently arise in litigation. Known for his multidimensional thoughtfulness between the legal, business, and human realties of navigating disputes, Richard is committed to mindfully guiding clients with diligence and approachability.
