Jessica DeFilippis

Jessica is a member of TGF’s Commercial Litigation group. Her diverse practice includes contractual and commercial disputes, shareholder disputes, property disputes, estates, corporate and construction litigation. Jessica works closely with clients throughout the litigation process, offering her skills on files that are particularly intense and require adept, focused legal representation.

Jessica is a dedicated, approachable professional, advocating diligently on complex files that require creative solutions. Her clients value her responsiveness and cheerful attitude as she guides them through some of their most challenging issues.

Prior to joining TGF, Jessica completed her articles at a full-service law firm in Toronto where she gained exposure to a range of litigation mandates and worked on matters heard at various levels of court. Jessica enjoyed hands-on training regarding cross-border legal issues during her legal education, and holds both a Canadian and American Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor Faculty of Law and University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. During law school, Jessica completed a judicial internship with a civil court judge in Detroit and served as a Contract Law Teaching Assistant for two years.
