Bruna served as judicial law clerk to the Hon. Justice Eladio Rocha of the Court of Appeals of the State of Santa Catarina, Brazil, for several years before immigrating to Canada. There, she was routinely engaged in deliberations in appeal proceedings involving a broad array of civil and commercial disputes. She obtained her law degree from the Federal University of Santa Catarina, Brazil, and has health science background from attending Dentistry School in the Health Sciences Faculty of the same university before transitioning to Law School.
