Emil Flisfeder

Emil began his legal career as a paralegal before joining SLG LLP as a summer student, later returning as an articling student and then joining the firm as an associate. His articling term exposed him to a range of practice areas, giving him a strong foundation in how different areas of law support business operations.

Emil advises entrepreneurs, family businesses, professionals, and privately held companies on corporate transactions, business financings, employment matters, and commercial leasing. He assists landlords and property management clients with leases and agreements drafting across commercial, industrial, and condo commercial properties. Emil delivers clear and practical advice on employment contracts, terminations, wrongful dismissal, severance packages, employment contracts, and workplace disputes. Known for managing client expectations and building lasting relationships, Emil is also experienced in wills, powers of attorney, and estate and succession planning.
