Derek Robert Freeman

With over 50 years of experience, Derek is a respected leader in litigation. Called to the Ontario Bar in 1975, he has appeared before the Supreme Court of Canada and all levels of the Ontario Courts. A recognized expert in business and construction law, he has served on numerous executives of the Ontario Bar Association (OBA) and is a prominent voice in legal technology. His dedication to the legal community earned him the inaugural OBA Linda Adlam Manning Award for Volunteerism in 2000. As of 2025 Mr. Freeman has been made an Honourary Life Member of the Canadian Bar Association.
