Narmada Gunawardana

Narmada Gunawardana is an Associate in the Municipal, Planning & Land Development Practice Group at WeirFoulds LLP.

Narmada provides legal opinions to both private and public sector clients in matters related to various aspects of land use planning and municipal law. Narmada is a litigator that regularly appears before the Ontario Land Tribunal.

Prior to joining WeirFoulds, Narmada worked as an Associate at a Toronto-based law firm focused on land development advocacy and associated litigation. Narmada has appeared before both the Superior Court of Justice and the Small Claims Court in Ontario in contested motions and trials.

While in law school, Narmada was actively involved in both the Windsor and Detroit communities and volunteered in various legal clinics on both sides of the border. She was also selected as a Judicial Intern for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan where she worked on both civil and criminal matters.
