Daniel Gregg Hamson

Daniel is a partner in the litigation department. He manages a broad civil litigation practice, with a particular focus on all manner of disputes in the franchising, licensing and distribution industry. Daniel also has a significant corporate and commercial litigation practice, with extensive experience in shareholder disputes, including oppression remedy proceedings. He is frequently retained in special situations requiring urgent relief, including injunctions and the appointment of interim receivers.

Daniel has appeared before every level of court, including the Supreme Court of Canada, as well as before national and international arbitration tribunals.

Daniel chairs the firm’s student hiring committee and runs its mentorship program. He also volunteers with Pro Bono Law Ontario.

Originally from British Columbia, Daniel moved to Toronto in 2011 to study law. Outside the office, he spends his free time with his family and their dog.
