Sarah aims to reduce the “Justice Gap” through her work in these practice areas.

Her clients include multiply marginalized persons who have been denied access to the life opportunities that others take for granted. In turn, they are disproportionately likely to face criminal justice and mental health system involvement, and often are unable to access needed legal services.

Sarah strives to offer accessible and affordable legal representation. She accepts Legal Aid certificates as well as private retainers on a sliding scale. She centres her clients’ humanity and dignity within her practice and before the Court or tribunal in question. She approaches each and every client file with an eye to the legal strategy and to the human story.
