Sana Hayat

Sana Hayat is a paralegal associate who represents clients in residential tenancy disputes, human rights matters, and employment claims. She frequently appears before the Landlord and Tenant Board, the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, and Small Claims Court. Alongside her own practice, Sana works closely with the firm’s lawyers on complex litigation and tribunal matters, providing legal research, case management, and hearing preparation. Before joining Progressive Barristers, Sana worked at a boutique personal injury law firm, where she developed experience in client advocacy and case preparation. Sana earned her Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Women and Gender Studies from the University of Toronto and her Paralegal Diploma from Seneca College. She also holds advanced certifications in Project Management and Alternative Dispute Resolution.
