She has a long and successful track record in loss transfer mediations and arbitrations.

Ruth also advises fleet automobile insurers and insurance organizations on the policy implications of changes to the Insurance Act and Regulations.

She has been counsel on some of Canada's largest construction claims, appearing for both primary and excess insurers.

She is a graduate of Dalhousie Law School and has her Mediation and Arbitration certification through the Ontario Mediation and Arbitration Institute.

She is a member of the Defence Research Institute, Canadian Defence Lawyers Association and the Metropolitan Toronto Law Association.
