Linda Ippolito, Senior Partner Linda is committed to providing her family and estate clients with practical, efficient, and cost-effective solutions. She holds a PhD in conflict resolution from Osgoode Hall Law School that focused on applying an ensemble approach to negotiation and problem-solving; she brings a team-oriented approach to her practice. Linda believes that relationships are the heart and bloodlines of conflict resolution. Whether those relationships are family, estate, or business-related, Linda believes that tending, mending and ending relationships with compassion and dignity are keys to durable and sustainable solutions. Linda works with her family law clients in negotiating simple as well as complex agreements related to all aspects of family law, and she works with her estate clients in drafting Wills, Powers of Attorney and probate applications. Listening and responding to clients’ needs and helping them achieve their goals are Linda’s forte. Called to the bar in 1994, Linda is a founding partner of Sheridan, Ippolito. A trained mediator and certified collaborative family practitioner, Linda has extensive expertise in all areas of alternative dispute resolution. She advocates for her clients in mediation, arbitration and collaborative negotiations. In addition to practising law, Linda teaches negotiation, advocacy, and alternative dispute resolution at Queens University Law School and Osgoode Hall Law School. Linda writes and speaks nationally and internationally on topics related to conflict resolution and the arts. A trained classical pianist, Linda enjoys a parallel career performing in concerts at home and abroad. She brings this spirit of creativity and artistry to her work as a lawyer.
