Neha Leena Issar

Neha Issar is a Senior Associate in Dentons’ Corporate and Venture Technology and Emerging Growth Companies practice groups. She is a commercial lawyer whose practice focuses on the structuring, negotiation, and commercialization of intellectual property and technology assets.

Neha advises startups, scale-ups, and established technology companies on SaaS, AI, data, and cloud transactions, IP licensing and ownership structures, technology development and procurement, and strategic outsourcing and supply chain arrangements. She also counsels clients on privacy and data governance, as well as commercialization strategies involving software, hardware, and digital platforms.

Her clients span a range of industries leveraging emerging technologies (including information technology, financial services, life sciences, logistics, agritech, energy, and retail) and she frequently acts on cross-border transactions involving Canadian and U.S. entities.
