Dina Issam Awad

Dina Awad is a partner in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution and Regulatory practice groups, with a practice focused on environmental, infrastructure, health and safety, and public-law disputes. Clients repeatedly retain Dina for representation in investigations, enforcement proceedings, and complex compliance matters, and for advice on incident response and regulatory risk management. Dina has appeared before Canadian trial and appellate courts and numerous administrative tribunals and has acted as counsel and arbitrator in commercial arbitrations. She previously served as legal counsel to a regulator, where she acted as a prosecutor, and as a judicial law clerk at the Federal Court of Appeal, experience that informs her strategic approach to advocacy and regulatory compliance.
