Arman Khaki

Arman graduated from the University of Ottawa, Faculty of Law in 2022, where he focused on Criminal Law, Charter Litigation, and Youth Criminal Justice. In his last year of law school, Arman completed an internship where he advocated for tenants in landlord-tenant disputes.

Arman articled under the supervision of I. Loui Dallas, the founder and principal of Dallas Criminal Defence. He has remained at the firm since being called to the bar in June of 2023. During his time at the firm, Arman has helped defend on several complex criminal cases including robbery, break and enter, firearm charges, and drug trafficking.

Arman is passionate about youth criminal justice. Whether it is negotiating with a Crown, making arguments before a Judge, or defending his clients at trial, Arman makes it a priority to ensure young people are treated fairly at all stages in the criminal justice system.

R. v. L.C. – Drug Trafficking (Cocaine and Fentanyl). After conducting the preliminary hearing, the charges were withdrawn, as the drugs did not test.

R. v. L.C. – Domestic Assault. After vigorous advocacy, the charge was withdrawn at the start of trial.

R. v. Z.F. – Domestic Assault, Forcible Confinement, Robbery. After effective negotiations with the Crown, the client was offered a peace bond and all of his charges are withdrawn on the day of his preliminary hearing.
