Yulia Margaret Konarski

Yulia Konarski is a senior associate in our Regulatory group with a consumer product regulatory and marketing and advertising practice. In particular, her practice focuses on regulated products under the Food and Drugs Act , including food, drugs, natural health products, cosmetics and medical devices. Yulia regularly advises clients about their obligations in relation to importing, selling, marketing and advertising these products into Canada, including as a marketplace facilitator. She also advises clients in relation to products subject to their own regulatory regimes, including tobacco, cannabis, alcohol and general consumer products. Yulia also has significant expertise advising clients with respect to the growing number of environmental regulations impacting the consumer product industry, including in relation to plastic and regulated “toxic substances” under the Canadian Environmental Protection Act.
