Sylvia Anne LaFontaine

Sylvia now specializes in estate law, estate litigation, and administrative law matters and has appeared before the Superior Court of Justice, Divisional Court, Small Claims Court, the Landlord and Tenant Board, the Human Rights Tribunal and various professional disciplinary bodies.

During law school, Sylvia established the second Aboriginal Legal Aid Clinic in Ontario, which was later incorporated into the Legal Aid-funded L.A.W Windsor program, which is still active today. Sylvia is an active member of the Estate’s Section of Hamilton Law Association, the Ontario Bar Association, Rotary Club International, and the Canadian Federation of University Women. As a strong champion for community connection and wellness Sylvia has joined the Innovation Lab to complete the roll out of her upcoming App.
