Elie Rachel McMain Laskin

Elie provides strategic advice on professional liability, medical malpractice, and regulatory matters, advising healthcare professionals on complex legal issues. She is committed to navigating the evolving landscape of health law, ensuring compliance with changing legislative frameworks while advocating for her clients in litigation and regulatory proceedings.

Elie began her legal career in Toronto, before moving to Vancouver, where she worked at national firms. She has appeared before all levels of court in British Columbia, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice (Commercial List), the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal, and the American Arbitration Association.

Elie completed her law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School. Prior to law school, completed a Master of Science in Bioethics at Columbia University and holds an undergraduate degree from McGill University.
