Shawna Leclair

Shawna Leclair is a detail-oriented and diligent advocate, with a diverse litigation practice including commercial and civil disputes, public law, professional regulation and employment matters.

She joined the firm as an associate in 2019, serving as counsel to the Commissioner of the City of Hamilton’s Red Hill Valley Parkway Inquiry until 2023.

At Queen’s University Law School, Shawna volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada, worked as a student caseworker at the Queen’s Business Law Clinic and received recognition as an oralist in the Davies Corporate Securities Moot. Shawna won the course prize for achieving the highest standing in Advanced Corporate Law.
