David Ashton Luther

David Luther is IESO Nova Scotia’s General Counsel & Corporate Secretary, leading the organization’s legal services, governance, regulatory affairs, compliance, and enterprise risk functions. He also serves as Chief Compliance Officer, overseeing matters related to reliability compliance. In 2025, David was named one of Canada’s Top 25 Lawyers and has also been recognized nationally for delivering innovative business-focused solutions that drive enterprise transformation and desired outcomes.
