Stephen Joseph MacDonald

Stephen MacDonald B.A., LL.B. Counsel Stephen has extensive experience in trial and appellate courts obtaining verdicts favourable to his clients in a variety of litigation matters. He obtained his B.A. from Yale University in 1973 and his LL.B from Queen’s University in 1977 and was admitted to the Law Society of Ontario in 1979. Formerly a partner with Thomson Rogers and then a senior partner at MacDonald & Swan LLP, Stephen specializes in all aspects of serious personal injury claims, complex insurance disputes and commercial litigation. He is a member of the Advocates’ Society, The Medico-Legal Society of Toronto and the Canadian Bar Association.
