Bilal Bashir

Bilal is a Senior Associate at Fragomen’s Toronto office, where he helps clients with immigration-related matters for corporate clients bringing international talent to Canada. Bilal has experience with all types of work permits, covering both LMIA-based and exempt work permits, and has also dealt with inadmissibility matters, including temporary resident permits and criminal rehabilitation applications. He also has experience with appellate matters entailing refugee and sponsorship appeals.

Prior to joining Fragomen, Bilal practiced law as an advocate of the Higher Courts of Pakistan, handling constitutional and judicial review matters, as well as banking/finance and corporate/commercial issues.
