Angelique helps clients resolve legal issues that can arise following the death or incapacity of loved ones. Angelique is recognized as one of the leading lawyers in estates and trusts in ‘Lexpert Magazine’. She is also recognized by her peers in the publication, ‘Best Lawyers of Canada’. Angelique’s former clients describe her as an astute litigator who is very creative, caring, strong, witty, and “a warrior in the truest sense of the word.”
Angelique has devoted her practice to advocacy, first at the Office of the Public Guardian and Trustee as a law student, and then at a civil litigation firm. She has practiced estates, trusts and capacity law exclusively since 2009 and has dealt with hundreds of cases.
Angelique’s extensive experience ranges from will challenges, to dependants’ support claims and interpretation of wills, as well as passing of accounts of trustees and attorneys. She frequently appears in courts throughout the Greater Toronto Area including the Toronto Estates List. She has acted for and against beneficiaries, estate trustees, guardians, attorneys for property and personal care, dependants, and creditors. Her clients include individuals, trust companies, charities, and the Office of the Children’s Lawyer.
Angelique is on the Executive as a member-at-large of Estates and Trusts Section of the Ontario Bar Association, and is an active member of the group.
Outside of the office, Angelique enjoys cooking, road biking, and spending time with her family in Etobicoke. She has fond memories of sunny vacations in Mexico and is really looking forward to travelling again.
