After being called to the Sindh Bar Council in Pakistan, Ayesha worked at MCA Law Associates, a renowned litigation firm, where she practiced in the areas of family, criminal, corporate and human rights law. She attended numerous proceedings at the Supreme Court of Pakistan and worked in close association with the former President of the Supreme Court Bar Association, Muneer A. Malik.

She subsequently moved to Canada and joined the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services, where she worked with victims of domestic violence, adults with developmental disabilities and the indigenous youth. A part of her work centred on tracing legislation pertaining to the residential school system and its psychological impact on school survivors, their families and communities. Ayesha also attended court matters regarding the implementation of child and spousal support orders as well as social assistance programs.

She then worked at M.J. Lawyers LLP, a boutique law firm, where she gained experience working on complex litigation files regarding family, criminal and civil law, and attended several proceedings at the Landlord and Tenancy Board.

Her eventual association at Gottlieb Family Law provided her with invaluable exposure to large and high-conflict family files and complex trials. Ayesha deeply cares about the work she does and the clients she serves. Her practice is based on integrity, frank and direct communication, and sensitivity towards every client’s needs. Her high degree of professionalism and intellect have been an asset to the firm.
