Stacey Lauren Reisman

Stacey is a civil litigator with a broad dispute resolution practice. She focuses on complex commercial litigation, securities law, administrative law, and class actions. As part of her civil litigation practice, Stacey represents clients in a range of commercial matters, including shareholder disputes, corporate governance disputes, directors' and officers' duties, breach of contract claims, and other business torts.

In addition, Stacey advises clients on securities law compliance issues and regularly represents clients in investigations and administrative proceedings before various regulators, including the Ontario Securities Commission and the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. In this role, Stacey brings practical industry experience, having completed a year-long secondment in the Enforcement Division at the Ontario Securities Commission.

Stacey has appeared as counsel before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, Federal Court, Federal Court of Appeal, Alberta Court of Appeal, and the Supreme Court of Canada.

Stacey has taught as an instructor for Osgoode Hall Law School's Trial Advocacy course. She is also a member of the Canadian Bar Association and The Advocates' Society, and she previously sat on the executive committee of the Ontario Bar Association's Class Action section.

Stacey completed a secondment at the Ontario Securities Commission in the Enforcement Division in 2025.
