Jeff didn't follow the typical path to law. And that's exactly what makes Legal LogiQ different.
Jeff Ross is a licensed paralegal with the Law Society of Ontario and a notary public appointed by the Province of Ontario under the Notaries Act. But before that, he spent years working inside the systems his clients now face and guided by a commitment to integrity, protection of rights, and ensuring every person receives access to justice.
After earning his Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Wilfrid Laurier University, Jeff worked at the Superior Court of Justice as a Court Registrar in Criminal Court. He saw firsthand how overwhelming the legal process can be for everyday people.
Recruited by the Ontario Motor Vehicle Industry Council (OMVIC), Jeff left the civil service and spent 13 years there, first as a Provincial Offences Officer and later in several management roles. It gave him a view of the automotive industry from the inside.
Jeff deepened his automotive knowledge serving as Director of Customer Loyalty with iA Financial Group, one of Canada's leaders in insurance, finance, and warranty. He then spent five years leading operations for a mid-sized motor vehicle dealership overseeing sales, parts, service, and body shop operations. This insider perspective gives him unique insight into the vehicle disputes and consumer issues that so many clients face.
Jeff's dedication extends beyond his legal practice. In 2013, he obtained a Certificate in Adjudication from Osgoode Hall Law School and the Society of Ontario Adjudicators and Regulators, and previously served as an adjudicator with the Human Resources Professionals Association.
