Outside the courtroom, Reagan is seasoned in trademark clearance opinions, the prosecution of trademark filings, licenses, assignments and other portfolio management strategies. Reagan is frequently called upon to speak on IP topics in the media and routinely contributes to academic legal discourse. His scholarly work is published in peer-reviewed journals from coast to coast, is cited in a leading property law textbook, and has been presented at major national conferences, including the Congress of the Humanities & Social Sciences.

Prior to joining Smart & Biggar, Reagan had a celebrated career in Saskatchewan’s public sector and was a recipient of the Premier’s Award for Excellence in Public Service in 2016.
