Sawsan Selwyn

Sawsan is an associate in the Real Estate Group at Gardiner Roberts, where her practice focuses on commercial real estate matters including acquisitions and dispositions, real estate financing, and landlord and tenant leasing. She has represented buyers and sellers, lenders and borrowers, developers, municipal bodies, and education boards across a wide range of transactions and property types, including industrial and office buildings, retail spaces and shopping centres, build-to-suit projects, raw land, and hotels.

Before joining Gardiner Roberts, Sawsan practised as a real estate lawyer with KPMG Law in Toronto, Gowling WLG in Hamilton and Toronto, and Pallet Valo in Mississauga. Earlier in her career, she completed her legal education and practised law in London, England, before returning to Canada. Her international and multi-firm experience gives her a well-rounded perspective on complex real estate transactions.
