Sarah Frances Sevier

Sarah Sevier is an associate at Rogers Partners LLP, where she practices civil litigation with a focus on insurance defence. She began her career with the firm as an articling student, gaining practical experience in a broad range of litigation matters, including automobile accident claims, professional liability, and occupiers’ liability. Sarah earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa, graduating cum laude and appearing on the Dean’s Honour List. While in law school, Sarah distinguished herself as a top oral advocate, winning first place and multiple individual awards in moot court competitions. She also served in several leadership roles, including as President of Fauteux Productions, where she directed and acted in theatrical performances, and as Vice-President of Finance of the Environmental Law Student Association. Before law school, Sarah completed a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) at Queen’s University, graduating in the top 3% of her class with a major in Psychology and a minor in Drama. Sarah brings a dynamic and well-rounded perspective to her legal practice, combining analytical rigour, clear communication, and creative problem-solving. Her diverse background in academic research, teaching, and competitive athletics contributes to her thoughtful and insightful advocacy. Outside of the office, Sarah enjoys singing and playing guitar, performing in musical theatre, skiing, and playing soccer.
