Paul acts as lead counsel to private equity sponsors and public and private corporations on strategic M&A transactions, and advises across the full deal cycle — acquisitions, divestitures, investments, portfolio company transactions, joint ventures, partnerships, strategic alliances, reorganizations and governance matters.

Paul has extensive experience in both domestic and cross-border mandates, while working with our offices in Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia and Quebec. He also works extensively with our Competition group on structuring and implementing transactions to address complex regulatory approval requirements.

Paul brings his strategic insights across industries and sectors, including Food, Beverage & Agribusiness, Infrastructure, Energy & Renewables and Industrials. This sector approach allows him to deliver practical, commercially focused advice that aligns investor objectives with industry realities.
