Shanice Kiria Star-McLean

Shanice Star-McLean is an associate in the Real Estate group in the Toronto office. Her developing commercial real estate practice includes financing, acquisitions and dispositions, and commercial leasing. Shanice’s connection to Dentons began in high school through the LAWS (Law in Action Within Schools) program, where she was mentored by lawyers at the Firm. Now, as a lawyer at Dentons, she gives back by mentoring students at her former high school through the same program – coming full circle in her journey.

Shanice completed her undergraduate degree at Toronto Metropolitan University. She then earned her Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2024.

Shanice joined Dentons as a summer student in 2022 and articled with the Firm in 2024-2025.
