As the founding partner of SLG LLP, Ellena oversees the firm’s corporate-commercial department and manages a team of lawyers and clerks engaged in both transactional and routine legal work.

Ellena Steiner’s practice focuses on a broad range of national and international business law and advisory services. She represents financial institutions, family offices, high-tech corporations, builders, developers, private investors, and entrepreneurs in connection with the acquisition and disposition of businesses, land, and commercial real estate, as well as general day-to-day corporate-commercial matters. Ellena attended York University on an academic scholarship, where she earned her B.A. (Honours), followed by earning her LL.B. at Osgoode Hall Law School. She was called to the Bar of Ontario in 1988.

Ellena is a Member of the Law Society of Ontario and the Ontario Bar Association.
